    • In the winter be sure to check out the Alpine skiing on Gore Mountain or Whiteface Mountain. If you prefer cross country skiing be sure to try the trails of Garnet Hill or Friends Lake.  During the spring, summer and fall you may find that hiking is more your style.  You will definitely  enjoy the forever-wild High Peaks region of the Adirondack State Park.  Or perhaps you want to just stroll the tree lined streets of many of the hidden Adirondack villages and towns.
